We were all outside playing and having fun together. It happened to be a day that Eden decided wearing a formal church dress for the day was the most appropriate outfit. She cracks me up with her determined and confident opinions on her clothing choices.

Like I said we were all outside and I couldn’t help but realize how beautiful the light was coming through our neighbors trees and into our backyard. It seriously looked magical. I ran inside grabbed my camera and started shooting. My heart felt so full after because it was a short 10 minutes that I took to create a memory for my kids.

I put together this video and after it was done I turned to Erick and said should I leave it like this? There had been a few clips that were so funny to me that didn’t make “the cut” for the actual little video I was making.

Even just showing Erick the little clips that didn’t fit into the video I couldn’t help but laugh out loud watching them. And that’s when we both looked at each other and thought we had to include them. So be sure to enjoy the bloopers at the end and what this video actually came from.

Things I never want to forget.

Eden- loves, LOVES, to throw diapers away. Is obsessed with kissing anyone and everything all day long. Her kisses always consist of her cheeks and lips being sucked in to create the cutest little kissy fish face. She loves her brother and is always trying to be just like him (for better or worse). I am always finding her on top of tables and things that are way too high for her to be on, but she is such a climber.

Grey- is obsessed with shoveling, gets EXTREMELY upset when his sister doesn’t want to play with him. He loves everything to do with fireman and fire engines. He loves to go outside and “water his garden” aka our rocks. He isn’t a great eater, but drinks more than the whole family combined.

This adorable romper and moccs Eden is wearing were bought from Ailulia on 25th street in Ogden. It is a must go if you haven’t been there, it is a must go. They have super unique stuff there. Then, you can find her bow here.

I recently purchased this adorable mini bowling set (that you can buy from Little Cottonwood) and I am obsessed. Look how adorable it is?! They seriously have the cutest stuff. Like I kind of want everything. AND they are having their spring launch tomorrow night…..so. If you like cute clothes and toys for your kids well then you might want to check it out!

Eden and Greyson have the funniest relationship. They always want to play with each other because they truly are best friends. The problem is there isn’t many things they can actually play together. But this cut little bowling set they can.

I had a shoot day with them yesterday at the studio and I specifically brought these with us because I knew it was a memory that I wanted captured. My mom heart just kind of melts when I see them playing together.

So I’m super excited to start sharing a personal blog with you guys! A million years ago it seems like I was amazing at journaling and I literally wouldn’t miss a day. Then I got married and had two babies and it just isn’t realistic anymore. So, I am hoping to hop on here once or twice a week and just update for myself what has been happening in mine and my little family’s lives. You are more than welcome to follow along. I hope you do.

Today started later than normal, (thank the heavens), but little Miss woke up a half hour before Grey. So we spent some girl time together cuddling in bed and then playing tag and hide and go seek in my room. The light was sooooo pretty guys. Like I kind of died every time she would run out from my pitch dark closet into the light my heart melted. Maybe it’s because I am always trying to pay attention to light for photography but I couldn’t help but run and get my camera.

She was kind of done playing the game by the time I went and got my camera so I had to get creative so I may have thrown all her favorite toys in my closet and had her fetch them for me to have her keep running in and out of the light. Haha. All I can say is it worked and I am so happy because these pictures are some of my favorite of her that I’ve ever taken. They are pure Eden and pure beautiful light.
