I love fall, I love fall, I. Love. Fall. My absolute favorite season of the year. I love when the air turns crisp and you can actually feel it on your skin. I love the smells that come with fall, cinnamon, apple cider, pumpkin. But, what I love the most about fall is the coziness that it brings. Give me all the warm fuzzy cardigans, sweats, and comfy throws.

When it comes to decorating for fall I am all about bringing in lots of textures. Chunky knits, soft velvets, anything that continues to bring that feel of cozy to my home. It’s the time of year that my home becomes “more moody” bringing in richer colors that add tons of warmth to my couch, bed or furniture.

Designer Tip:

When I am picking pillows out for a sofa I typically buy 2 of one pillow and then 2-3 that that are all different. The two help unify things, but having the others different adds that depth and texture that you will want. With the pillows I’ve picked you really should be able to mix and match pretty much any of them. They all lay pretty much in the same tone. Also! A bunch of these pillows come in at least three colors. So if you are liking the texture or pattern but not so much the color chances are there is another color you will like!
