I am not one that likes to really decorate for Holidays other Christmas. But I do really enjoy switching up colors and textures when it comes to the seasons. My favorite season to do this with is fall. My house usually has super light colors and low contrast, but fall is when I like to bring as much moodiness to my home as I can.
One of the easiest things in my opinion to add to any home in any season is artwork. It can evoke a mood immediately and it is something that is super easy to switch out season to season if you wish. My absolute favorite place to go for prints is BFF Print Shop. There selection of artwork is seriously killer. They add new prints all the time, especially seasonly, and they are affordable.
I recently downloaded a bunch of their prints to update my artwork in my home for that more cozy feel. The colors are more muted and moody, I am slightly obsessed. They all are going to transition into winter as well.

The Best Frames
I will be the first to admit that I usually find the absolute best frames while thrifting. You can score amazing vintage frames for only a few dollars. With that being said, sometimes we don’t have that luxury. So I thought I would round up a few different options for frames online. When styling my art I typically like to go a mix of old and new when it comes to frames. It helps to add so much more interest and texture to a space, rather than going with all the same frame.
Let’s chat Printing!
First off, you have to know that I am SUPER picky when it is comes to printing. I have done professional photography for almost 8 years now and so I have seen my fair share of good and bad print jobs. I have a lot of online places I like. But really the most affordable option that still does a great job for printing artwork for your home is Walgreens. I know, I hesitated too the first time. But I have yet to get a print back from them that I wasn’t happy with. Majority of their print sizes can be printed same day. Also, they have sales ALL THE TIME on prints. So if they aren’t sell wait a week and they probably will be.
I also love the look of matte. But usually print the glossy with Walgreens because then it can be same day printing and I have still loved the finish.
One last step to make sure your art turns out perfect.
After you have your art printed and your frame. Take the glass or plastic out of the frame and leave the artwork exposed. This is game changing friends! Believe me. You want your artwork to look higher end, and like an actual painting or sketch? Take the glass/plastic off. Just trust me on this one.
