Our Boho Playroom

Ah! Can you guys believe our playroom is finished?! I am so happy with how it all turned out. I really really wanted to make this a fun space for my kids to hang out and want to be. But I also wanted to make it functional for our family and well still pretty at the same time. I think we ended up with just the result we wanted.

As I have shared a glimpse at this room on Instagram I have had a few questions of how the toys will be organized. So before I answer that question completely, we have had the playroom done now for a few weeks and my kids have really been able to spend time in this room while Erick and I have put time into working on other house projects. We brought up just a few toys from our current home to have them have some stuff to play with.

They have played SO WELL and have had so little toys that it has made me really rethink how the final toy situation will shake out when we actually live here. Original plan was to have toys in the baskets separated on the house shelves and then we also have a side closet that I planned on storing a lot of toys in as well. Now, plan is to ONLY use the baskets that are on the house shelves. I know we will have a few random things like my son’s nerf guns that probably won’t fit nicely in one of the baskets. So those will probably end up in the side closet. But everything else must have a home in a basket or we aren’t keeping it.
