We have lived in our house for over a year and we are finally to the point where we are working on the master bedroom. The room you guys have seen on Instagram or I’ve shared as our master is actually an extra room that we have been using. But now it is time for the room that was originally designed to be our master and on suite bathroom. Here is a current look of where the space is at now.

We already have the basic shell of the rooms done. Flooring and trim are already installed. So now we are to the point where we are going to start priming everything and getting ready for paint. Which surprise, we are not doing white! Everywhere else is painted ultra pure white by Behr, which we love! But this room I wanted to go a completely different direction.

We are planning to limewash the walls and I am pumped. It is going to be quite a bit of work compared to spraying the walls. But the amount of movement and texture that it is going to bring to the room will hopefully be worth it. I will be taking you through the whole process of how we limewash and the final results. But for now here is a little glimpse of the overall mood and feel I have in my head for this space.

Are you excited to see how it turns out?! I literally cannot wait. It has been a LOOOONG time coming and I feel like a kid on Christmas. Soon I will be sharing a more in depth moodboard with furniture and decor that we plan to add to the space. Cannot wait for this space to come to life.
